As a Site Reliability Engineer at Quiz of Kings, Your responsibility is to ensure that each service is always fast, available, scalable and can stand heavy users load. Your working scope consists of collaborating with data centers, kernel and system levels, and Applications layer. You will be facing new challenges daily, therefore, you should have a strong ability in troubleshooting. Your passion and speed in learning new stuff are so important to us. You need to pay close attention to details so as to solve problems in different situations. Behind everything our users see and enjoy, is an infrastructure designed by our Site Reliability Engineering team to keep it running. In order to present the best and fastest user experience for our users, we're always available to maintain all services and fix all network issues. We always have to ensure the system can stand and resist under heavy load and this principle has been always one of the most challenging and fun of them all. - Get engaged with our infrastructure and own services - Supporting services, before and after deployment. I.e. consulting developers in system level, develop monitoring, deployment, and capacity management tools - Get involved with monitoring and alerting systems on a daily basis - Supporting and planning for critical and disaster situations
