Job Description

The objective of the role: Working as a professional translator in a reputable Law Firm specializing in Intellectual Property Law. List of responsibilities: ● Translating texts and documents from Farsi into English and vice versa, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained. ● Researching legal, technical, and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation. ● Assisting in the preparation of reports to international clients. ● Catching the errors of translated documents by the official translation bureau. ● Proofreading and editing final translated and edited documents. ● Prioritizing work to meet deadlines. ● Retaining and developing knowledge of the intellectual property. ● Reporting to: Office Manager. ● Probation period: 2-Month. ● Working hours: Saturday to Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Requirements

● Bachelor's or Master’s degree in English Tranlsation or English Literature. ● Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. ● At least 2 years of experience as an English translator or teacher is preferred and having a business education or working experience in Industries or translation bureau is an advantage. ● Fluent in MS Office, especially Word, Outlook, and Excel. ● Attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
