
Job Description
-Advise the company concerning legal and contractual aspects and risks of business transactions, claim management, the advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations
-Inform contract holders, general counsel, and the project director of any legal risks identified
-Analyze the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents
-Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses
-Present evidence to defend the company or prosecute defendants in legal litigation
-Study the constitution, statutes, decisions, laws and regulations, and ordinances of quasi-judicial bodies to determine ramifications for cases
-Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, such as deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts
-Examine legal data to determine the advisability of defending or prosecuting a lawsuit
-Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments for the presentation of cases
-Gather evidence to formulate a defense or to initiate legal actions
-Confer with colleagues with specialties in appropriate areas of legal issues to establish and verify bases for legal proceedings
-Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
-Cooperate with a legal colleague in Tehran or site
*Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Law
-At least 7 years of experience in the same field with a proven track record
-Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, and executive orders
-Negotiation and Conflict Resolution: to know how to be persuasive and exert influence, while sensitively seeking a solution that will benefit all parties; and the ability to establish a rapport with colleagues and clients alike
-Problem-Solving: to have analytical, creative, and critical skills, and the ability to approach a problem with a cool and level head to reach a solution
-Decisiveness: to put things into perspective, to weigh up the options, to assess all relevant information, and the ability to crucially anticipate the consequences
-Communication: to adjust the tone and style according to the audience, comprehend and act efficiently on instructions, and explain complex issues to colleagues and clients alike
-Teamwork: to have the intuition and interpersonal acumen to know when to be a listener, and to be perceptive, as well as receptive to the needs and responsibilities of others
-Flexibility: to demonstrate an ability and willingness to acquire new hard skills, and an open-mindedness to new tasks and new challenges, to show a willing and upbeat attitude
-Ability to work under pressure
-Time Management: to think clearly and to have the capacity to compartmentalize and set stress aside within tight deadlines
