Job Description

Key Account Manager - “ Protective and Architectural Coatings “: ● Develop and execute a sales plan for the area of responsibility, both strategically and tactically. ● Set up, coordinate, and execute specific accounts tactics and plans to realize pre-defined/agreed sales and overall customer relationship objectives, both for the short- and long term. ● Translate into financial profitability and goals both strategically and tactically and be accountable for top-line profit. ● Monitor and coordinate the execution of the account plan, report on the basis of defined performance indicators and take the necessary corrective actions, in order to achieve the financial results. ● Responsible for the route-to-market approach, including selecting and building up the agent/distributor network where necessary. ● Report to the sales manager. Top-level connections: ● Build sustainable cross-layer networks in the defined accounts by both direct engagements and by positioning key stakeholders to the right level in the account to speed up the development and brick wall running of a business. Business development: ● Identify long-term business opportunities with the account(s) and include these in the account strategy and plan. ● Propose new product developments to meet the customers’ demands. ● Ensure that projects are progressing with the right speed both at customer and Kansai Paint Iranian Co. Competition: ● Monitor and benchmark competitive products, market requirements, and competitive business strategies (competitive profiling) and incorporate benchmarking and competitive profiling in account and sales plans. Negotiations: ● Lead contract and price negotiations with the respective accounts and ensure the conclusion of sales contracts and price levels within the agreed price volume targets. Technical support and complaints: ● Coordinate technical service or after-sales service activities towards the account to ensure full customer satisfaction. ● Monitor the complaint process and ensure an appropriate complaint settlement with the account within the agreed timeline. Account receivables: ● Monitor the account’s payment behavior and when deviations are noticed take action to ensure payment within the agreed payment terms. Requirements

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, or Commerce. ● At least 5 years of business experience, including B2B sales. ● Ability to work with diverse cultures and willingness to travel alongside Iran intensively. ● Customer-oriented, selling and communication skills, interpersonal skills (team player, listening skills), leadership skills, result-oriented, flexible, highly motivated, disciplined, and well organized. ● Strong language skills (fluency in English is mandatory). ● Computer literacy at the operational level (MS Office, SAP, and CRM). ● Advanced negotiation and marketing skills to consult the customers on existing and new products and applications. ● Experience in a sales position in B2B environments is essential.
