Researching and providing optimal solutions for the import of legumes and nuts
In charge of sourcing and procurement of dried fruit and nuts.
Performing commercial activities such as sourcing, corresponding, negotiating, ordering affairs, and making shipping arrangements and additional tracking when required in a timely manner.
Preparing and submitting weekly reports relevant to the scope of work and responsibility.
Monitoring shipments to ensure that goods come in on time, and resolving problems related to undelivered goods.
Monitoring changes affecting supply and demand and tracking market conditions, prices, trends of future markets, and planning for dealing with them.
Requirements
At least a Bachelor's degree (preferably Business-related field); at least 3 years of importing experience (preferably legumes).
Familiarity with the methods of supply and allocation of currency for import.
Ability to source the required grains.
Ability to analyze the global grain market and predict global price trends.
Full dominance of English, both speaking and writing.
Knowledge of foreign procurement and commercial procedures, regulations, sourcing, and correspondence.
Knowledge of release affairs, customs rules, incoterms, and NTSW.
Familiar with taking permits from relevant organizations.
Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Familiar with dried fruit and legumes.
Good ICDL skills (Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word).
Mastery of the process of importing food products, including legumes.
