Job Description

● Accountable for local operations and management of group finance functions, controlling and risk management. ● Ensure local implementation of processes, directives, and organizational setup. ● Responsible for all matters related to accounting, treasury, taxes, risk management, legal entity controlling, and central controlling. ● Ensure full compliance of financial and tax statements with local Iranian financial, tax, and related legal and regulatory requirements. ● Provide leadership and management supervision to GFI functions and certain platform functions, specifically site services, IT, procurement, controlling, and liaising with the region and HQ according to the needs. ● Accountable for audits: tax audits, social security audits, financial statements, and any other external or internal. ● Manage liquidity of Bayer Parsian, expected to safeguard the capital base of Bayer Parsian and to closely monitor the local liquidity which needs to cover interest and tax expenses. ● Maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions. ● Ensure full compliance with the sanction regime for all financial transactions and IT activities in Iran. ● Support the PH and VS business by advising on the most relevant payment channels. ● Enable the business to improve customer experience to facilitate organic growth and supports the divisions in their strategies, models, and implementation. ● Build a strong network within Bayer’s local, regional, and global GFI community to ensure Bayer’s internal and external targets are fulfilled. ● Recruit, mentor, and develop talents that have the capabilities to further grow into Bayer leaders.

Requirements

● Master’s degree in Finance or Business-related fields. ● 5 to10 years of experience in financial and functional management positions ● Finance knowledge (Accounting, tax, and treasury) in both Iranian and international financial and tax standards. Preferably combined with project management experience in M&A, carve-out, and re-structuring. ● Strong people management, leadership, organizational, analytical, communication, and cross-functional networking skills. ● Strong competencies: business insight and business partnering mindset, strategic mindset, courage, building effective teams, managing complexity, and ambiguity.
