Job Description

• Monitor continuously 24/7 the status, performance and alarms of all network Core nodes and segments. • Acknowledging Core Alarms based on agreed OPI and MCI request • Detect Critical and Major alarms within SLA, check the alarms appeared in the OMC/NMS, confirm no relation with the ongoing CR/WO in the network. • Perform first level action commands before alerting • Carrying out all regular O&M routines • Alert Field engineer in case the alarm is still pending, and follow up the Field engineer on the alarm clearance • Inform Technical leaders about the important outages and updates within internal SLA • Performs periodic health checks/monitoring of the network’s performance indicators; • Ensure that proper Core alarm handling and escalation procedures at the shortest possible reaction and remedy time applicable to specific fault categories.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Telecommunications, ICT or Computer Science Degree. • At least 3 years of experience in telecom equipment maintenance. • Familiar with OSS and dispatch systems. • Experienced and strongly knowledgeable on 3G, 4G packet switching network architecture & protocols. • Good negotiation and communication skills • Ability to work under pressure, • Able to work out of working hours for providing 24x7 technical support
