Job Description

ᴧ Job Specific Accountabilities:
• Lead product and process development across oils/fats and canned food categories.
• Develop fat blends, frying systems, shortenings, and functional emulsifiers.
• Lead tomato paste, sauces, and RTE recipe improvements and stability programs.
• Govern by-product utilization (soap stock recovery, meal, feed enrichment).
• Support capital projects with technical specifications and process design inputs.
• Supervise R&D Managers, Technologists, and Culinary Chefs.
• Work with BU teams to translate market and customer requirements into specifications.
• Support cost optimization and ingredient simplification initiatives.
• Lead sensory, benchmarking, and shelf-life validation.
Requirements:
ᴧ Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Oil Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering. Language: Advanced Level
ᴧ Skills: MS Office, GC/HPLC, viscosity meters, rheology tools, formulation platforms. Fats/oils formulation, frying systems, tomato paste/sauce/RTE recipes, DOE, packaging/regulatory, data analysis & trial design, Leadership communication, vendor engagement, cross-site coordination. Thermal processing science, Oil Chemistry, Thermal Processing, Emulsification,
ᴧ Experience: 15+ years experience in R&D leadership within multi-category FMCG/CPG. Deep technical expertise in oil chemistry, bakery science, thermal processing, and sensory science.
