Position Finance Manager
Reports to Head of Support
Supervision Finance Staff
Duty station Tehran Country Office
Travel 10 percent
Contract 3 month probation with possibility of extension

Role and Responsibilities

Finance Manager ensures financial setup follows NRC standards and supports projects

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with NRC policies donor and audit requirements
Implement financial systems and procedures
Control budgets and monitor cash flow
Manage finance team
Train staff on financial responsibilities
Provide reports and analysis
Implement anti corruption measures
Support programme development

Specific Tasks

Prepare donor financial reports
Manage income forecasts
Close accounts at year end
Improve budgeting process
Support decentralization of finance
Improve audit readiness
Support cooperation across teams
Support cash based programmes
Participate in assessments
Report to BAFIA
Develop BAFIA budgets
Maintain salary and cost tracking
Review banking options in Iran
Train finance staff
Ensure budget coverage
Prepare monthly budget vs actual reports
Train staff on donor rules

Finance Staff

Compliance with Code of Conduct Terms of Employment

Competencies

Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in senior finance role
Experience in humanitarian context
Strong accounting software skills
Fluency in English is a must

Preferred

Experience with ECHO and DEVCO
Team training experience
Knowledge of Iran or Afghanistan context
