Job Description

● Collaborate with sales, marketing, advertising, product design, and product development team members to plan promotional marketing campaigns. ● Create editorial and content creation calendars for various media platforms and outlets. ● Coordinate with the warehouse for shipments/deliveries to forwarders/customers in a timely manner. ● Meet with clients to discuss brand guidelines, goals, budgets, and timelines. ● Conduct market research to determine a target audience’s needs, wants, habits, interests, and other relevant factors used in creating targeted marketing campaigns. ● Research previous successful campaigns to understand what worked, what didn’t, and what can be improved. ● Review the progress and success of a campaign, making adjustments, or pitching ideas for new campaigns as necessary. ● Responsible for documentation, monitoring, and coordination with customers for all outbound shipments. ● Ensure that proper documents/permit is filed for commodities. ● Print all necessary export documents. ● Provide the warehouse with shipping documents in a timely manner. ● Arrange shipments on behalf of customers. ● Check the accuracy of the airway bill or bill of lading. ● Ensure that freight-related costs are endorsed within agreed hours upon receipt. ● Maintain a daily export monitoring report. ● Communicates with the customer service group for any requirements or exceptions found in freight documents or physical cargo receipt, report any discrepancies to avoid mishandling of goods. ● Assist the day-to-day operations of the export department to ensure those customer requirements are met. ● Ensure that file contains all necessary document copies in proper sequence and are uploaded properly to document management system. ● Assist with ensuring that payable and receivable documents are completed accurately and forwarded within time constraints. ● Trace shipment through transit points up to final destination and advice customer service as needed with timely updates. ● Ensure the highest level of data quality and integrity by processing shipments accurately.

Requirements

● At least 3 years of experience in import/export customer service and/or operations. ● Experience in coordinating with the warehouse for shipments, quoting and negotiating rates, handling bookings, procurement, document preparation, researching and resolving freight discrepancies and customer complaints, corresponding with overseas offices, agents, and clients, and closing files when shipments are completed. ● Strong data entry skills and keen for detail. ● Knowledge of INCOTERMS. ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills esp. in Arabic and English. ● The candidate should enjoy fast-paced multi-tasking, customer service-minded environment.
