Position Overview:
As the e-commerce manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of our online sales strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker and passionate doer with a hands-on approach to managing our ecommerce platforms, enhancing user experience, driving traffic, and increasing conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive ecommerce strategies to achieve business goals.
- Manage and optimize our ecommerce website(s) and other online sales channels.
- Oversee product listings, inventory management, and pricing strategies.
- Work closely with the marketing team to plan and implement marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, etc.).
- Analyze and report on e-commerce performance metrics (traffic, conversion rates, sales, etc.) and use data-driven insights to optimize the customer journey.
- Hire and Lead a team of e-commerce specialists, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, customer service, and IT to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in e-commerce management or related fields, preferably in the beauty industry.
- Proven track record of increasing online sales and optimizing user experience.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (preferably WooCommerce) and digital marketing tools.
- Working knowledge of SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, etc.).
- Familiarity with PHP, JavaScript, or Java is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
