Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Commercial Manager to join Behvazan Pharmaceutical. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our commercial operations, with a focus on procurement, supplier relationships, and logistics. This role requires strong expertise in the pharmaceutical industry, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in conducting business.
Key Responsibilities
• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with domestic and international suppliers of pharmaceutical consumables to ensure a reliable and high-quality supply chain.
• Procurement Oversight: Prepare, organize, and register purchase orders for goods and services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Order Tracking: Monitor and follow up on domestic and foreign purchase orders to ensure timely fulfillment and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Logistics Coordination: Track the transportation, customs clearance, and delivery of goods, ensuring seamless and efficient logistics operations.
• Business Correspondence: Conduct professional business correspondence in English with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations and negotiations.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to make strategic procurement decisions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including finance, regulatory, and quality assurance, to align commercial activities with organizational goals.
• Compliance: Ensure all commercial activities adhere to local and international regulations, including pharmaceutical standards and trade policies.
Qualifications and Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial management, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with suppliers of pharmaceutical consumables and an understanding of the pharmaceutical supply chain.
• Communication: Fluency in English (both written and verbal) for professional correspondence and negotiations. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Skills:
o Proven ability to identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
o Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in preparing and tracking purchase orders.
o Expertise in logistics, including transportation and customs clearance processes.
o Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• Attributes: Proactive, results-driven, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
