Job Description

Major job duties: • Preparing purchase orders and sending copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests. • Preparing and reviewing of purchasing files, reports and price lists. • Reviewing requisition orders to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications. • Comparing prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers. • Tracking the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders. • Responding to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations. • Controlling and monitoring all domestic and overseas purchases based on internal and legal policies and procedures. • having knowledge of all organizational and governmental rules affecting purchases, and provide information about these rules to organization staff members and to vendors. • Contacting suppliers to schedule deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems. • Preparing contract drafts and follow with management to get approvals. • Evaluating and replying to contract cancellation and change requests. • Proper sourcing in order to get the best terms and conditions in contracts from domestic and overseas markets. • Handling of financial issues such as exchange letters, opening LC, exchange assignment. • Checking shipments to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications. • Handling transportation correspondence and formalities including insurance. • Coordinating and handling all international commercial affairs such as order obtaining, corresponding, monitoring of orders process with suppliers including payments & bank transactions, shipments, commercial registrations, transporting follow-up, getting feedback as well as upstream reports etc. • following up all steps of purchases from order, NTSW, IRC, EPL, release till the final result. • Ensuring all requirements are met before shipment, invoice wholesalers, and address any discrepancies or issues after delivery. • It is necessary to use Microsoft Office to its potential.

Requirements

General Requirements: • Fluent in English (fluency in other languages is an advantage) • At least 5 years of experience in related fields. • At least Bachelor’s degree in related fields. • Please apply if you really need a job and are committed to work. • Location: Jordan Office, District 3 of Tehran municipality. • Working hours: Saturday to Wednesday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. • Probationary (Trial) period: 3 months Interpersonal ability & Soft Skills • Being flexible, social and energetic. • Eager to learn and co-creation. • Working as a team member. • Familiar with conflict resolution methods. • No Rage attacks - anger for no apparent reason. • Tolerating uncertainty. • Developing project plans. • Familiar with Decision making Process.
