Job Description

The Business Excellence Executive (BEE) will work with the Business Excellence Senior Manager (BESM) to constantly evaluate the business processes and internal control primarily focused on finance to improve them in any way possible. These improvements can take the form of new equipment, staff, methods, team building, and mentoring. The BEE will administratively report to the IRI Group Internal Audit Manager and functionally report to the BEM in the group. The BEE will be able to help eliminate unnecessary costs/effort and increase communication between the different levels of operation on all aspects regarding finance functions and processes. Strong interpersonal communication skills are a must for BEE because the role demands a leadership-heavy attitude and usually requires working with all the process owners and their management (i.e. Finance, HR, Marketing, Operation, etc.) and reviewing them in a manner that allows for impartial assessment and calculation. Being able to run meetings, create presentations, and create informational charts indicating where processes are lacking in efficiency will help on the job immensely.

Requirements

  • A solid business analysis background with hands-on experience in change management.
  • Creative, innovative thinker who sees beyond how things are done today to imagine a better way, and thinks about the big picture, and long-term direction.
  • Superior facilitation and coaching skills, create a highly collaborative environment, create strong buy-in, and transfer process improvement knowledge and techniques.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills include the ability to present data and information logically, and the ability to influence and achieve support for change. Able to adapt communications to different audiences.
  • Intermediate understanding of computer systems logic.
  • Hands-on experience using one or more of the following tools and systems is required: Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Design Thinking.
  • Highly proficient with Excel, Visio, and other similar analysis and mapping tools.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze data, draw insights, understand the 'so what', and communicate key findings.
  • Leadership skills include strong relationship-building, high integrity, self-awareness, empathy, professionalism, and openness.
  • Excellent command of English.
