- Build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.
- Responsible for heading up the expansion in new markets/segments as well as continued expansion among existing clients.
- Identify market trends and gaps by researching the industry, related exhibitions, publications, and announcements, and contacting key persons within the market.
- Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Prospect for potential new suppliers and turn this into increased business.
- Work with sales and marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Create, negotiate, and close commercial agreements.
- Acquire ideas for new API - for - generics, custom, and bulk raw materials.
- Carry out supporting market studies.
- Ensure flawless flow of communication.
- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.
