Job Description

Responsibilities/Goals • Responsibility for the Sales & Marketing function. • Analyze the Iranian market place for Knipex specific product categories. • Develop and provide data on markets, customers and competitors in the region. • Draw up a suitable sales strategy (in conjunction with KTME) to expand the current market share. • Sustainably increase sales turnover. • Coordinate and develop existing distributors and wholesalers. • New customer acquisitions (target customers) • Improvement of product knowledge of distributors (retailer/ distributor sales force • Annual Goal-Setting in terms of: Number of training, target customers, category focus and product launches etc. • Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors. • Formulate, direct, or coordinate activities involving sales, marketing activities or policies to promote products or services also coordinate • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service. • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts. • Negotiate and contracts with vendors or distributors to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks or developing distribution strategies. • Advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business. • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products. • Confer with potential customers regarding equipment needs and advise customers on types of equipment to purchase. • Visit franchised dealers to stimulate interest in establishment or expansion programs. • Consult with buying personnel to gain advice regarding the types of products or services expected to be in demand. • Consult with buying personnel to gain advice regarding environmentally sound or sustainable products. • Conduct economic or commercial surveys to identify potential markets for products or services.

Requirements

Who we are looking for (Skills and Knowledge): Education and experience: • University Qualifications: Minimum bachelor degree in business or a related field. Master degree in business administration (MBA) is an advantage. • Nature and length of previous experience: At least 10 years’ experience and 3 years in a related position Strong product background, affinity towards tools and technology • Experience in a complex multi-team and strategy fast paced business environment is an advantage. • Extensive market knowledge, ideally from: • Tool merchants, Industrial B 2 B, Builders merchants, Electrical wholesale, Sanitary wholesale, Hardware shops, Mail order companies, Agricultural wholesale, Electronics-specialized wholesale. • Qualifications: A-levels or equivalent Skills: • Strong negotiation skills. • Commercial awareness. • Ability to work autonomously and to deadlines. • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) skills in both Farsi & English. • IT literate. • Frequent travel is a prerequisite within Iran, 3 to 4 days per week. • Strong work ethic. • Customer and Personal Service knowledge • Administration and Management knowledge • Process Management. • Strategy implementation execution. • Strategic & performance management, and ISO standards • Problem analysis and problem-solving • detail oriented, self-discipline and self-motivation • Able to confidently deal with all management levels • lead, inspire and motivate teams whilst maintaining the focus on the ultimate business goal • Strong presentation skills
