A Brand |Manager in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry is responsible for ensuring that a product succeeds throughout its lifecycle. From planning the launch to managing growth, the role is diverse, fast-paced and vital within the pharmaceutical industry.
In this role, you will influence the future growth of one of our brands by working closely with the in-field team and across functions to lead insight gathering across stakeholders, brand strategic development and execution of key initiatives and tactics.
Here are some of this position`s responsibilities:
- Develop an annual brand plan in coordination with the company's overall goals.
Analyze the current state of the brand, competitors, needs and behavior of key consumers and customers.
- Determine the brand strategy including positioning, main message, target audience and competitive advantage.
- Define quantitative and qualitative goals for the brand (sales, market share, market penetration, brand awareness, etc.).
- Regularly review the market, industry trends, competitor products and environmental changes.
- Analyze internal sales data and market reports to identify opportunities and threats.
- Design marketing plans and promote brand products throughout the year, in line with sales goals and market share.
- Determine the type and timing of activities (attendance at events, training programs, in-person activities in the market, outdoor advertising, digital activities, etc.).
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Unit to design and implement digital marketing activities related to the brand.
- Supervise the design and production of advertising and promotional items required by the brand (catalogs, brochures, posters, stands, product introduction videos, social media content, etc.).
- Sales tools management (with emphasis on order books and call plans)
- Design and set up call plans for the sales team in coordination with sales management
- Define priority products in each time period and coordinate with the sales team to focus on them.
- Prepare and update other sales support tools
- Monitor the performance of each product in terms of sales, profitability, and market share.
- Analyze the life cycle of each product (introduction, growth, maturity, decline) and suggest necessary actions (maintenance, strengthening, modification, replacement, production stop, etc.).
- Complete planning for introducing new products under the brand, from the initial market review stage to market launch.
- Review market capacity and potential, competitor status, product offering, and appropriate price level.
- Develop a new product introduction plan including goals, messages, advertising items, training programs for the sales team, and a plan to attend related events.
- Preparing content and items needed to introduce a new product (texts, images, presentation files, brochures, etc.).
- Training the sales team before launching a new product to the market.
