Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility, ensuring efficient and timely execution of all warehouse activities.
Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and strategies to optimize productivity and streamline operations.
Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and sales teams to ensure accurate stock management, minimize stockouts, and reduce holding costs.
Implement and maintain proper inventory control measures, including cycle counts, stock rotation, and quality assurance processes.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
Collaborate with other departments to improve cross-functional coordination and communication, particularly with the logistics and transportation teams.
Continuously identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices to enhance warehouse efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Prepare and analyze warehouse performance reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in warehouse management systems.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience (5 years) in warehouse management, preferably in the mobile distribution or consumer electronics industry.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and experience in maintaining a safe work environment.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
