Job Description
The Fulfillment Center Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and seamless execution of fulfillment operations within Snapp Group. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day order processing activities, ensuring operational accuracy, maintaining effective inventory control, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Fulfillment Manager, the Fulfillment Supervisor will lead a team of fulfillment associates, coordinate cross-functional collaboration, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and performance standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive and organized professional with strong leadership capabilities, analytical thinking, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate fulfillment team members to achieve daily and long-term goals.
- Delegate tasks effectively to ensure balanced workload distribution.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team productivity.
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of customer orders.
- Monitor key fulfillment metrics such as OCT, OTD, and TTF, and implement strategies to improve efficiency.
- Resolve order-related discrepancies promptly and ensure smooth order flow.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess departmental performance.
- Analyze operational data to generate insights and action plans for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports to communicate results to management.
- Identify and implement opportunities to optimize operational workflows.
- Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives and introduce new tools or technologies to enhance efficiency.
- Design and deliver onboarding and upskilling programs for fulfillment team members.
- Conduct regular training sessions and provide coaching to support career development.
- Foster a learning culture that empowers employees to achieve excellence
- Implement and maintain quality control standards throughout the fulfillment process.
- Monitor product handling and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with quality teams to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Partner with departments such as Logistics, Customer Service, and Planning to ensure operational alignment.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and collaborative projects.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Anticipate and address operational challenges proactively.
- Manage and resolve conflicts within the team effectively and professionally.
- Apply structured problem-solving techniques to drive sustainable solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a fulfillment or logistics environment.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of lean principles and supply chain best practices is desirable.
