Melli Gold is a leading online gold trading platform, trusted by over 1 million users for secure and seamless transactions. Our mission is to redefine digital gold investment using cutting-edge technology, with a strong focus on reliability, transparency, and scalability. We are rapidly evolving our infrastructure to support growing demand and modern user expectations.
As part of this evolution, we are hiring a Tech Lead to own the core architecture, drive engineering excellence, and lead a high-performing team through a critical growth phase.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design, development, and delivery of key backend, frontend, and infrastructure initiatives.
• Own the migration path from legacy systems toward a scalable, service-oriented architecture.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO on platform architecture, scalability, and long-term vision.
• Mentor engineers and foster a high-ownership, high-accountability engineering culture.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with product, design, and business teams to deliver value-aligned solutions.
• Set and enforce engineering standards, including CI/CD, testing, documentation, and code quality.

Our Stack:

• Back-End: Python (Django, DRF), PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ.
• Front-End: Next.js (App Router), TypeScript.
• Services: Node.js (NestJS).
• Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD.

Requirements:

• Proven experience owning production systems in both Django and Node.js.
• Deep expertise in RESTful API design, asynchronous workflows, and database optimization (PostgreSQL).
• Successful track record of leading technical teams or complex technical initiatives.
• Strong command of frontend-backend separation and modern frontend architecture.
• Hands-on experience with message brokers, distributed systems, and microservice communication patterns.
• Operational experience with containerized deployments, CI/CD (preferably GitLab), and Kubernetes.
• Experience leading system migrations from monolithic to modular architectures.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
