Job Description

● Review client's technical documentation and requirements such as data sheets and design documents like drawings, P&ID's, etc. ● Prepare technical offers. ● Prepare the technical documentation for instrumentation and systems requisitions and performs the technical evaluations. ● Attend in Technical discussions/meetings with clients on process for evaluating their requirements, presenting our offers and troubleshooting if needed. ● Provide technical support and advice to clients like petrochemical plants, gas refineries, contractors, etc. ● Prepare technical clarifications with clients and vendors.

Requirements

● Knowledge of instrumentation, and mechanical equipment used in the offshore and onshore Oil and Gas and Petrochemical Industries. ● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering (Process), Electrical Engineering, or Petroleum Engineering. ● Age range: 30 to 45 years old. ● At least 5 to 8 years experience as instrumentation and mechanical procurement engineer in the Oil and Gas industry (upstream and/or downstream). ● Specialized in instruments, mechanical and process equipment in Oil and Gas industry. ● Expert in preparation and modification of technical proposals and technical doc, for Oil and Gas projects. ● Brand and market knowledge of instruments and mechanical items. ● Good at local supply chain management process. ● Knowledge of engineering standards such as API, NFPA, ASME, NEMA, IEC, BS/EN, etc. ● Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook. ● Knowledge of drilling and wellhead equipment and facilities will be highly valued. ● Experience in installation and repair will be highly valued. ● Fluent in English. ● Acceptable communication skills. ● Resourceful, wide reader and can work under pressure. ● Teamwork capabilities.
