Job Description
Reporting to CTO, this role will play a key part in building and maintaining company's software platforms. The incumbent will work with a team of smart, highly driven technology professionals to build robust and user-friendly products at the cutting edge of the online industry. The development team has been successfully adopting the best tools available for developers and following best practice. The team has continuous integration in place, and collaborate through company's online project management tools. Key responsibilities will include: • Involvement in the entire software development life cycle -- including technical analysis, architecture design, software development, QA and release to production. • Undertaking both front-end and back-end development, based on a variety of technologies including .Net and MS SQL Server, or PHP5, MySQL, HTML, CSS3, JavaScript and other technologies as needed. • Ensuring continued smooth operation of the company's live platforms. • Interacting with various stakeholders as needed -- including senior managers, sales team, end users and technology partners.
Requirements
Essential • Demonstrable 3+ years' experience in software development • Previous experience of executing front-to-back software development life cycles Excellent knowledge of .Net framework and MS SQL Server, or PHP5, MySQL, HTML, CSS3 and JavaScript • Ability to interact with senior stakeholders across all areas of the business • University degree, ideally in Computer Engineering or Information Technology, but other subjects will also be considered • Deep personal interest in following new trends and technologies Desirable Having experience in one or more of the below items is a plus: • Experience in working in an Agile environment • Knowledge of AngularJS or other MVC front-end frameworks • Experience in performing code reviews • Interest in UX • Experience with Git • Experience with Node.js and MongoDB • Experience with MS Dynamics CRM • Experience with Mobile Application Development
