Job Description


The objective of the role:

The Site Supervisor is an integral member of the project team responsible for the preparation of the installation and commissioning of the equipment at the client's site according to the contract, in coordination, and under the guidance of the Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining the operational plans of the site from the project manager and planning and scheduling those operations on the site.
  • Managing and supervising the affairs carried out by the team based on the site.
  • Coordinating and managing the operations of Contractors of Execution and Installation of project equipment.
  • Controlling and approving invoices of contractors.
  • Handling of industrial health and safety issues and training on the site with the coordination of the relevant officials.
  • Planning the supply and consumption of the required materials before starting work and during work.
  • Preparing reports of the done work and submitting them to the project manager to prepare work reports for clients.
  • Collecting technical information after construction and sending it to the technical unit in order to prepare As-Built documents and drawings.
  • Solving the technical problems of the project with the cooperation of the project engineering team.
  • Obtaining necessary permits to perform work (work permit).
  • Reporting to the project manager.
  • Probation period: 3 Months.
  • Working hours: Saturday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
  • Travel requirements: Occasionally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a related field.
  • Familiarity with CCTV systems.
  • Familiar with project concepts and processes.
  • Familiar with Oil and Gas projects.
  • Familiar with AutoCAD.
  • Familiar with MSP.
  • Capable of formal correspondence.
  • Ability to handle meetings with clients.
  • Good at English.
  • Good at MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of safety (HSE).
  • Having HSE certificates (16-hour and 40-hour courses) is plus.
  • Good public relations.
  • Managerial experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
