Senior R&D Researcher

Job Description

  • Check that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complies with legal requirements.
  • Prepare standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products or tests.
  • Collaborate with other R&D teams and QC to develop new research ideas and to share knowledge and expertise.
  • Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to compare to produced goods.
  • Work with the R&D team to develop and improve formulations for various cosmetics (home care and hair care) generate new formulations, formulation changes, processes or analytical methods.
  • Prepare test solutions, compounds, or reagents for the laboratory.
  • Collaborate with the analytical lab manager for deploying MSA in the lab.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, or any related field from a reputable university.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a quality control expert, laboratory analyst, and formulator in the cosmetic (home care and personal care) industry.
  • Age range: 25 to 30 years old.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Creative with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Gender: Male/Female.
  • High teamwork skills.
  • Fully familiar with detergents, shampoo, and body wash formulation and the ingredients.
  • Completely familiar with cosmetic (homecare and haircare) finished good products and specifications, inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, comparing to standards, measuring dimensions, and examining functionality.
  • Completely familiar with cosmetic (homecare and haircare) raw materials, packaging materials, products, and production line microbial tests and microbial management.
  • Completely familiar with raw material specifications and technical documents, to be able to find the best test methods to qualify material.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Completely dominant in ISO 9001-2015.
