Job Description

● Lead the network team in coordinating troubleshooting and appropriate resources to respond to major problems and incidents to ensure resolution. Provides leadership and direction through technical subject matter expertise to team members. ● Evaluate performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity. ● Responsible for employees' development, including hiring, cross-training, retention, and performance evaluations of staff. ● Manage maintenance to minimize production downtime and maximize network productivity. ● Plan upgrades and expansions by ensuring changes are in place and implemented as necessary. ● Ensure compliance with all established policies and procedures and participates in ongoing activities such as incident response and disaster recovery exercises. ● Manage the development, documentation, and implementation of operating procedures, systems documentation, best practices, knowledge base, disaster recovery backup, and recovery.

Requirements

● Minimum of 8 years of experience in an area of specialization, ISP, Career and IP Technology (IPRAN Project Engineering or maintenance), planning, and optimization experience. ● Minimum of 5 years of experience in team leadership. ● Enough experience in IPRAN solutions and typical protocols: BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, and FHRP. ● Certification in Cisco networking technologies is required (CCNP and CCIE). ● Ability to act as a subject-matter expert. ● Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. ● Well-developed communication and presentation skills. ● Highly collaborative. ● Customer-centric focus.
