Job Purpose
To plan, engineer, localize, and supervise the localization (local manufacturing) process of industrial parts and equipment through engineering analysis, redesign, selection of manufacturing processes, evaluation of manufacturers, and ensuring compliance with technical, quality, safety, and environmental standards, in order to reduce dependency on foreign suppliers, improve quality, and optimize costs.
Key Responsibilities & Duties :
Engineering analysis and localization of industrial parts and components
Supervision of manufacturing and quality control processes
Ensuring design and production compliance with international standards
Working with precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment
Managing and evaluating manufacturers and suppliers
Documentation, reporting, and technical record management
Job Requirements (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgy, or related fields
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, production, or industrial parts localization
Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes
Deep understanding of engineering material properties
Proficiency in industrial standards such as API / ASME / DIN
Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance specification
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
