Job Description

Job Goals: • To ensure that the accounting and financial affairs relating to sales accounts, purchase accounts, management accounts, and inventory accounts of the company meet internal and external accounting requirements. Job Responsibilities: • Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately and accurately and prepare regular reports. • Facilitate and complete monthly account close procedures. • Prepare financial statements highlighting any areas of concern for the company and highlight any financial risks. • Prepare monthly account reconciliations using the data from the junior accountants. • Assist with financial and tax audits. • Assist and implement analysis procedures of financial statements and minimize any variances. • Develop and monitor internal financial controls and report all the outcomes. • Monitor product costing and product pricing procedures in order to maximize profit returns.

Requirements

• CIMA, ACCA or CPA qualification is advantageous, but not obligatory. • Good accounting and commercial practice, spanning all aspects of a production and sales company. • Familiar with the relevant accounting legislation and of the legislation and commercial environment of the sector • Competent in using accounting software applications • Verbal and written communication • Able to prepare effective account presentations • Team oriented. • 3+ years experience in a competitive accounting environment
