• Generate and privilege leads via phone, email, exhibitions, relevant websites, LinkedIn, etc.
• Strategically position profitable solutions with new customers focusing on domestic and international freight products and services.
• Hold specific knowledge regarding international freight forwarding and stay current on market trends.
• Generating new business leads and setting appointments
• Negotiating shipping rates with carriers and lines
• Maintaining regular contact with existing clients to determine their daily and weekly shipping needs
• Following up on client referrals
• Working closely with the operations team
• Efficient customer care
• Schedule sales appointments and activities
• Promote services to new and existing customers
• Track personal appointments, status reports, and sales
• Close sales using excellent customer service and salesmanship
• Develop strategies for more effective sales closing, share with the team
• Maintain positive business and customer relationships to prolong customer lifetime value
• Gathering market and customer information
• Negotiating with the locals and over-seas agents to get competitive rates
• Adequate ability to communicate with all foreign agents and customers

Saturday to Wednesday: 8 am to 4 pm.
Thursday: 8 am to 12:30 pm.
Requirements
• Sales and Marketing experience (working experience in international shipping companies is an advantage)
• Good proficiency in English, both speaking and writing
• Strong judgement and decision-making skills
• Negotiation and persuasion skills
• Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
• Self-driven and motivated
• Ability to effectively communicate, maintain relationships and negotiate with customers.
• Good command of MS office
