Chief Accountant

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced chief accountant with a strong background in startups to join our team at Zarrino.

In this role, you’ll manage all accounting tasks, oversee monthly reports, and ensure tax compliance. If you’re detail-oriented and skilled at financial oversight, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all accounting duties.
• Responsible for recording and monitoring GLs correctly and accurately, managing full statutory accounts.
• Responsible for the monthly closing and reporting of inventory, sales, and COGS calculation.
• Ensure to make payment approval for vendors according to payment due dates and receive settlement from customers.
• Reconcile account balance with vendors or customers every month in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for all treasury affairs and ensuring on-time payments.
• Control credit to ensure all risks of customers are covered with sufficient guarantees and credibility policies.
• Responsible during the audit process and coordinated finalizing the financial statements.
• Prepare the financial statement and required reports.
• Control audit reports with all related financial documents to ensure there is no discrepancy.
• Controls and prepares tax returns, seasonal reports, and VAT returns of the company.
• Send and follow up prepared tax returns to the tax office timely manner and upon receiving related receipts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance and Accounting or any related field.
• 5 years of experience as a chief accountant.
• A startup background is a great advantage.
• Synthesize complex or diverse information.
• Profound communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of budgeting, reporting, and COGS calculation.
• Good Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations for tax, SSO, and accounting procedures.
• Excellent computer skills: MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
• ERP experience (SAP is an advantage).
• Detail-oriented and good problem-solving skills.
