PYP Teacher Librarian required
We are seeking an experienced and qualified PYP teacher librarian to join the friendly, vibrant and dynamic team of dedicated teachers of the International Section of the German Embassy School Tehran. Here are some of the duties of the successful candidate:
• Working with the head of the International Section and senior staff to ensure information literacy outcomes;
• Support and implement the vision of the IB philosophy school through advocating and building effective library and information services and programs that contribute to the development of lifelong learners.
• Involved in literacy curriculum planning and report card committees;
• Involved in collaborative planning meetings;
• Holding weekly library lessons for all grade levels
• Helping grade 5 students with the PYP exhibition
• Teach the students the relevant research skills
• Keep an updated inventory of all the books
• Place annual book orders
