Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, humanitarian, non-governmental organization providing assistance to people in need as a result of natural and man-made disasters, irrespective of race, religion, ideology, or politics. MSF was awarded the Nobel peace prize in 1999. MSF has provided medical assistance to vulnerable people in Iran since 1990. MSF in Iran is seeking to employ a qualified candidate for the following position: PC ASSISTANT_Full Time City of work: Mashhad, Iran. Starting date: As soon as possible (After the approval of BAFIA). Contract: Full-Time with a contract of 3 months. _________________________________________________________________ The main purpose of the job: Provide support to the project coordinator in the administrative part of coordination tasks, ensuring a smooth relationship with local and national authorities, contributing to the context analysis and follow-up, and providing translations and interpreting in order to ensure the smooth running of the project. Responsibilities and tasks ● Monitor and report on key issues (security, risk, etc.) to the project coordinator and provide support in analyzing contextual information. ● File and update field contacts and correspondence. ● Assist the project coordinator in the drafting of correspondences with authorities and counterparts. ● Assist the project coordinator in Internal and external communication sessions and events about MSF. ● Organize advocacy contacts and appointments for the project coordinator with local authorities and partners to ensure the continuity of relations with local actors and involved counterparts. ● Execute clerk-related activities as well as prepare and conduct briefings on the project context to new employees in order to facilitate their integration onboard and within the project environment. ● Translate documents and act as an interpreter when needed. ● Prepare monthly reports of activities. ● Prepare and share action points (minutes of the meeting) with relevant staff (supervisors’ meeting) ● Maintain a professional relationship with all colleagues when the situation requires confidentiality. ● Accompany PC during field visits, including those outside Mashhad, if required. Requirements

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in related fields. ● Two years of previous experience in similar jobs in NGOs or international organizations. ● Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Expected high level of formal Farsi. ● Essential computer literacy (Word, and Excel). Personal attributes: ● Teamwork, able to work with multidisciplinary teams in a multicultural context. ● Good managerial skills. ● Good communication skills, verbal and writing. ● Desire to learn and investigate new subjects. ● Flexible, rigorous, and autonomous.
