Job Description

The production supervisor will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the production process, personnel supervision, and coordinating the production requirements. The production supervisor will be responsible for a group of operators working on production lines. The holder of this position ensures the daily achievement of the production objectives set by their manager and planning department in terms of quality, traceability and time, and equipment and people safety rules. The goal is to check the distribution of work, the application of good manufacturing practices, and the coordination between the different relevant services of the production line. List of responsibilities: ● Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. ● Follow nonconformities until solving the issue. ● Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and evaluate current production estimates and outputs. ● Ensure all employees understand and follow company policies and procedures. ● Perform performance evaluations on a regular basis. ● Monitor the production process. ● Prepare technical documents. ● Adhere to all cGMPs, compliance/regulatory mandates, and quality requirements. ● Ensure personnel is properly trained. ● Ensure compliance of production lines, equipment, and premises. ● Safely manage waste and residual materials. ● Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports. ● Report to: Production deputy and planning department.

Requirements

● Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. ● Effective oral and written communication skills. ● Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills, including interpersonal and organizational skills and ability to coach and mentor personnel to consistently high standards. ● Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations, and negotiation. ● Ability to execute tactical plans and maintain established timelines and budgets. ● Ability to handle stress. ● Fluency in documentation and writing SOP.
