Design the plant's piping route and 3D modeling in PDMS.
Stress analysis of piping in CAESAR II and preparation of the related report.
Prepare detailed engineering documents in the piping discipline including but not limited to Plot Plans, General Arrangements, Line Lists, Valve Lists, Tie-In Details, Pipe Support Lists and drawings, Isometric drawings, MTOs, MRs, etc.
Vendor documents' review.
Develop conceptual layouts based on experience and good engineering practice and develop these through detailed design.
Clash checking, inconsistency checking, and preparation of the report in PDMS.
Review the client’s technical documentation, specification, and requirements.
Prepare piping design specifications and procedures.
Review the design of all piping stress/support engineers. Issue project piping stress specification and critical lines list.
Perform stress analysis calculations of critical lines.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
3 to 8 years of piping design experience in piping design in the field of Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical plants.
Familiar with piping standards and codes (API, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, NACE, etc.) including ASME B31.3.
Good teamwork spirit.
Suitable skills and experience using piping design and modeling and analysis with AutoCAD, PDMS, CAESAR, Pipenet, or similar.
Ability to create reports and documents for procedures and tasks.
Responsible and well-organized with a strong sense of urgency and able to work under pressure.
Self-driven and detail-oriented.
Sufficient knowledge of practical software such as MS Office.
