Job Description
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Medical Representative (Scientific Representative) is a field-
based role responsible for the scientific and ethical presentation of a GLP-1 therapy in the
obesity/diabetes therapeutic area to healthcare professionals across Iran. The direct employer for this
position is Kajal Med, where the role focuses on building Professional relationships with physicians,
pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals by providing accurate, balanced and evidence-based
clinical information, in alignment with the approved brand strategy and applicable regulations
The representative will travel frequently within the assigned territory to visit hospitals, clinics,
pharmacies, and specialist practices, executing field activities to enhance appropriate product
awareness and understanding of its clinical profile. All interactions and activities must be conducted in
full compliance with applicable pharmaceutical regulations, industry codes of conduct, and ethical
standards, ensuring that all communication remains evidence-based and scientifically accurate.
The position requires close collaboration with internal marketing and sales teams, as well as timely
and accurate documentation and reporting of field activities to support ongoing market insights,
strategic alignment, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
 Present the assigned therapy to healthcare professionals through accurate, balanced, and
compliant scientific communication, in accordance with applicable regulations and approved
materials.
 Plan and conduct regular visits to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and specialist physicians to
develop professional relationships and enhance appropriate product awareness.
 Execute approved marketing and educational activities in the field in alignment with brand
strategy and guidance from the Marketing Manager.
 Provide healthcare professionals with up-to-date clinical information to support appropriate and informed product use.
 Collect and report market insights, Identify and engage potential customers, customer
feedback, and publicly available competitor information to support marketing and commercial
decision-making.
 Conduct sales activities and presentations and ensure all activities are conducted in full
compliance with local regulations, company policies, and global ethical standards.
 Support medical education events, meetings, and scientific programs as required.
 Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure consistent execution and aligned
messaging across the territory.
 Maintain accurate records of field activities and manage the assigned territory effectively to
achieve coverage and performance objectives.

Qualifications
 Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
 1–3 years of experience as a Medical Representative or in pharmaceutical field.
 Basic understanding of scientific communication and ability to present clinical information
clearly to healthcare professionals.
 Familiarity with applicable pharmaceutical promotional regulations and ethical standards in
Iran.
 Strong communication skills with the ability to build professional relationships with Healthcare
Professionals.
 Fluent in Persian, with working knowledge of English.
 Basic computer skills and ability to work with reporting or CRM systems.
Preferred Qualifications
 Experience in diabetes, endocrinology, or chronic disease therapeutic areas.
 Experience promoting injectable or specialty pharmaceutical products.
 Participation in scientific meetings or medical education activities.
