Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive annual and long-term marketing strategies aligned with the company’s business and sales objectives.
Lead, develop, and manage multi-divisional marketing teams while fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and accountable culture.
Provide strategic direction, field coaching, and ongoing support to divisional sales teams to help them achieve their sales targets.
Develop innovative brand strategies, promotional campaigns, and brand-building initiatives tailored to relevant therapeutic categories and target audiences.
Plan and oversee the creation of effective marketing materials and promotional tools across all channels, ensuring consistency, scientific accuracy, and compliance with brand guidelines.
Plan and execute integrated traditional and digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and digital engagement initiatives.
Conduct market research and analyze market trends, customer insights, competitor activities, and sales performance to identify growth opportunities.
Identify portfolio gaps and recommend new product development (NPD) and business development opportunities based on market potential and customer needs.
Prepare annual marketing plans, sales forecasts, brand objectives, and performance indicators for each product and therapeutic category.
Manage the marketing budget effectively to maximize return on investment, optimize resource allocation, and maintain cost efficiency.
Work closely with Sales, Distribution, Medico-Marketing, Medical, Training, Regulatory Affairs, Product Development, Design, Finance, and Head Office teams.
Monitor brand and campaign performance through relevant KPIs, providing management with regular reports, actionable insights, and improvement recommendations.
Build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders, healthcare professionals, agencies, business partners, and vendors.
Ensure the achievement of brand-level objectives, with a strong focus on sustainable year-on-year market-share growth and attaining leadership positions in the relevant therapeutic categories.
Ensure all marketing activities comply with applicable pharmaceutical regulations, ethical standards, and internal policies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Pharmacy, along with an MBA degree.
A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience within leading pharmaceutical companies in Iran.
At least three years of proven experience in a marketing leadership or team-management position.
Strong knowledge of the Iranian pharmaceutical market, therapeutic categories, healthcare stakeholders, competitors, and regulatory environment.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing pharmaceutical marketing strategies and integrated brand campaigns.
Strong understanding of both traditional and digital marketing practices.
Proven experience in brand management, market analysis, sales forecasting, budget management, and new product planning.
Exceptional leadership, people-management, coaching, and decision-making capabilities.
A data-driven and commercial mindset with excellent strategic and analytical skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Professional proficiency in both English and Persian.
Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and operate successfully in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
Mandatory Industry Experience
Previous marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry is mandatory. Applications from candidates without relevant pharmaceutical-industry experience will not be considered.
