The Position

As a Legal and Compliance Manager you will be in charge for the overall management of the factory’s legal and compliance affairs, providing business-oriented day-to-day advice and underpin with due recognition of overall Novo Nordisk values, Global strategies, NN Pars strategies and business objectives, and factory operation, in compliance with both Novo Nordisk policies and local laws and regulations.
In this function, you as a factory management team member will perform in:

  • Provide fast, effective, high-quality, and business-oriented legal aid and advice to the factory’s management team and all the departments.
  • Carry out and continually assess the effective implementation of the global legal and compliance strategy and Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations at the factory, in alignment with the affiliate (Tehran’s office) and regional office.
  • Ensure effective contract management, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, as needed, and support the obtaining and maintenance of licenses to operate in alignment with the affiliate.
  • Assist with all interactions with externals and ensure compliance with NN internal policies and Participate in the most significant projects of the factory to ensure compliance.
  • Identify and assess legal and compliance risks and ensure timely implementation of the mitigating actions and Perform sanctions and export control monitoring activities and subsistence staff by giving information and training as necessary.
  • Collaborate with relevant internal functions, on legal and compliance activities, including assisting with the rollout and reporting on significant initiatives, risks, and developments.
     

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in law is a must.
  • More than 3 years of in-house (corporate) experience, preferably in international companies.
  • Senior stakeholders’ management skill is a great advantage.
  • Working independently and being a dedicated team player focusing on results is crucial.
  • Fluent level of English in both oral and written.
