Head of Logistics Operation

Job Description

• Designing and optimizing transport and distribution routes to ensure timely delivery of parcels and reducing costs.
• Forecasting and planning customer demand using historical data and trend analysis.
• Designing components and logistics platforms to respond to new services.
• Estimates the logistical requirements of operational centers based on the number of routes and the volume of input and output parcels.
• Designing a monitoring dashboard of the diversion of transport operations and operational centers from the schedule presented and presenting feedback to the contractors’ monitoring team in accordance with SLA observance by transport and distribution contractors.
• Managing and balancing the operation of integration and distribution centers (hub) through carriers' arrival and exit scheduling and creating backup programs at peak activities such as holidays and busy seasons.
• Evaluating logistics costs and identifying cost reduction opportunities by improving transportation and productivity routes and optimal distribution of operations in the hubs.
• Implementation of analytical and optimization techniques such as simulation models and mathematical methods for optimal decisions.

• Skills in trend analysis and prediction of logistics needs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with different domestic and foreign teams.
• Skills in managing and leading logistics teams and creating effective cooperation between team members.
• Complete recognition of the processes of consolidation and distribution, sorting, transportation, distribution and packaging.
• Sufficient knowledge of the standards and laws related to transportation and safety in the courier industry.
• Sufficient knowledge of the Star and Mesh structures in the Hub & Spoke model.

• Familiar with Python language, SQL Server
