Job Description


-Design and optimize transportation routes and distribution networks to reduce costs and improve on-time delivery rates.
-Forecast demand and perform capacity planning using historical data and trend analysis.
-Design logistics components and modules within the platform, ensuring compatibility with new services.
-Estimate logistics requirements for operational centers based on parcel volume and number of routes (Capacity Planning).
-Design and implement monitoring dashboards to track operational deviations from schedules and provide operational feedback to the monitoring unit and contractors (SLA Management).
-Manage operational congestion and workload during different hours and seasons by scheduling carrier arrivals/departures and designing contingency plans for peak periods (holidays, high‑traffic seasons).
-Evaluate and analyze logistics costs and propose cost‑reduction initiatives (fleet efficiency improvement, load distribution across hubs, route optimization).
-Implement analytical and optimization techniques (simulation, mathematical models, and optimization methods) for key decision‑making.
-Define, monitor, and report operational KPIs.
-Lead the operations team and coordinate among technical teams, platform development, sales,
and transportation contractors.

Requirements:
-Education: Master’s or PhD in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations/Supply Chain -Management, Industrial Management, Executive Management, or related fields.
-Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain operations (operations management, network optimization, or similar roles).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Python and SQL Server.
- Ability to analyze complex datasets, build forecasting models, and execute/interpret simulation and optimization results.
- Understanding of consolidation and distribution processes, sorting, packaging, transportation, and concepts such as Hub & Spoke and Mesh networks.
-Strong team management skills, negotiation ability, and effective interaction with contractors and stakeholders.
- Data‑driven decision making, results orientation, and adherence to SLA and safety standards.
-Preferred: Experience with BI tools (Power BI / Tableau) and TMS/WMS systems.
-Preferred: Familiarity with mathematical modeling (LP/MIP) and discrete‑event simulation.
-Preferred: Knowledge of cost‑to‑serve analysis and logistics cost drivers.
