- Responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary engineering team
- Prepare and modify engineering procedures and instructions
- Oversee engineering tasks in EPC projects in oil, gas and petrochemical industries
- Manage, monitor and report projects engineering schedule, progress, and status to top-level managers
- Ensure delivery of project work scope in accordance with the project execution plan
- Organize engineering schedules and assess human and material resource requirements
- Communicate effectively with other departments including marketing, sales and procurement
- Build an engaged and capable team through communication and effective coaching
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements and prioritize work for the team to deliver on the project milestones
- Manage the submission of documents, also identify and address key concerns that may alter or impact on-time project engineering delivery by tracking development milestones to meet set deadlines
- Work closely with other department heads to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments
Requirements
- Minimum B.S. degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a similar relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience of engineering supervision or management
- Familiarity with oil and gas equipment such as pumps, valves, pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, separators, mixers.
- Ability to manage a team efficiently and effectively and develop a qualified and motivated team
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proactive decision maker and problem solver
- Good command of English language
