Job Description

We are a small business looking for a talented data analyst to join our team. The data analyst will be responsible for collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on data sets to extract insights that will inform business decisions. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, statistics, and data visualization, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the team.

Responsibilities:

Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and web analytics tools.
Perform statistical analyses to extract insights from data sets and identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Collaborate with other members of the team to identify business problems and develop solutions.
Monitor and evaluate data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and data visualization.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
More than two years of experience in data analysis, statistics, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to use statistical software such as R or Python.
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the team and across departments.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
