● Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
● Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, and inventory management.
● Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate.
● Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
● Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
● Produce reports and statistics regularly.
● Meet regularly with warehouse leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.
● Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment.
