Job Description
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
- Oversee all delivery and branch vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure all vehicles are operating and safe for branch staff.
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all warehousing and handling legislation requirements.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
- Direct and manage all inventory and cycle counting.
- Plan warehouse work flow, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
- Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees.
- Adjusts receiving errors via using Inventory control software.
- Fill in for delivery or warehouse staff as needed
