Job Description

• Expertise knowledge of 4G/5G & IoT standard specifications like O-RAN Alliance and 3GPP.
• Subject Matter expert on RAN/Core Architecture and components
• Design the RAN architecture: developing the overall architecture of the RAN network, including the selection of hardware, software, and network elements.
• Remains actively updated on 5G Private RAN/Core feature roadmap, 3GPP releases & Use Cases
• Follows and understands technology trends and perform competitive analysis to help formulate the vision and influence the technology roadmap
• Conduct in-depth technical product and technology support for technical team and Private 5G business unit portfolio including validation of the architecture and use cases.
• Analyze business requirements to determine the appropriate technical solutions that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Skills and experiences
• 3+ years of experience in Telecom industry.
• Strong Experience in the RAN/Core Network domain.
• Strong background with 4G/5G, IoT and AI/ML
• Knowledge of RAN network design, planning, and optimization, as well as experience with network management tools and technologies.
• Solid knowledge of 5G Private Network and O-RAN specifications and components
• Good knowledge of Radio Access Technologies, including LTE, 5G NR, CBRS, mmWave, massive MIMO and Beamforming
• Deep understanding on LTE & 5G SA/NSA 3GPP Specifications on Core Network aspects and its various interfaces
• Detailed technical understanding of EPC, 5GC, IMS/VoLTE, NFV, MEC, Slicing, Security, Cloud-native/Micro-services, OSS/BSS, Virtualization, DC/Cloud, and private networks.
• Good knowledge of RAN HW equipment and RAN SW architecture.
