Job Description

● Support for data storage equipment, including installation, troubleshooting of devices and their related components to customers (Supported topics can range from hardware/software problems related to the equipment and related solutions to network issues). ● Resolve technical customer issues in person, over the phone, by mail, and in remote sessions. ● Research customer issues in a timely manner and follow up directly with customers on recommendations and action plans. ● Collaborate with or escalate cases to other Technical Support Engineers and/or Escalation Engineers when the problem is too complex or falls out of your specific area of expertise and to quickly facilitate solutions for customers.

Requirements

● Ability to troubleshoot difficult technical issues with a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service experience. ● Passion and ability to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment. ● Willingness to adjust work routines to accommodate after-hours implementations and on-call requirements. ● Ability to travel for a mission to other cities inside the country (Maximum mission time would be 1-3 days). ● Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and with good problem-solving skills. ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ● Familiar with Storage Resilience, Replication technologies. ● Knowledge of or hands-on experience in the following technologies, while not required, is beneficial: EMC VNX, Recover Point, Unity arrays, Brocade 6505, 6510, FC HBA. ● Experienced in installation, troubleshooting of tape libraries, and knowledge of tape technologies.
