POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Tech Lead – TravelTech to own the technical architecture, scalability strategy, and engineering execution of travel and booking platforms.
This role requires strong systems-level thinking across search engines, booking flows, pricing logic, integrations with third-party providers, and high-availability infrastructure. You will align technical decisions with customer experience, operational reliability, and long-term growth strategy.
This role supports a hybrid working model, designed to enable deep focus and high-quality execution while maintaining strong collaboration across product, operations, and engineering teams.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

• Design and own scalable architectures for booking and reservation systems
• Lead technical decisions across search, availability, and pricing engines
• Architect integrations with airlines, hotels, payment providers, and third-party APIs
• Collaborate closely with product and operations teams to optimize user journeys
• Ensure system reliability under high concurrency and peak traffic conditions
• Review and guide implementation across backend, frontend, and data layers
• Identify bottlenecks in booking flows, pricing updates, and synchronization processes
• Use AI-assisted tools to enhance personalization, dynamic pricing, and performance analytics

SKILLS

Booking & Reservation Systems
• Strong experience building scalable booking or transaction-heavy platforms
• Understanding of real-time availability and pricing systems
• Experience integrating with external APIs and third-party providers
Scalability & Performance
• Experience designing high-availability, low-latency systems
• Strong architectural judgment for peak load and seasonal traffic spikes
• Expertise in distributed systems and data consistency
Data & Optimization
• Experience with analytics, recommendation, and personalization systems
• Ability to leverage AI tools for pricing optimization and demand forecasting
• Understanding of user journey tracking and performance metrics
Leadership & Execution
• Ownership of technical direction aligned with business and operational goals
• Ability to collaborate across product, operations, and engineering domains
• Clear communication of technical trade-offs to senior stakeholders
