List of responsibilities: -work with head of procurement and suppliers to source the right products.
-Negotiate contracts with suppliers.
-Plan and implement logistical strategy, ensuring targets are met.
-Receiving and reviewing purchase requests, including domestic and foreign purchases of production raw materials, general and technical requirements and other goods and items required by different units of the company and planning to supply them according to priority.
-Supervise and control the necessary measures to identify, review and evaluate manufacturers, suppliers and service organizations to know their capabilities.
-Supervise and participate in conducting studies and gathering information on domestic and foreign markets and identifying new sources for purchasing the required goods.
-Ensuring the necessary coordination to obtain import permits to the country from various organizations for foreign purchases.
-Supervision and control over the affairs related to the opening of credits and remittances with banks and exchange offices to pay money to the foreign seller company and eliminate possible problems.
-Reporting to: managing director and Financial and Economic Deputy.
-Working hours: Saturday to Wednesday 07am- 04pm.
-Travel requirements: in some cases whitin in country.
-University Qualifications: BSc in Business Management.
-Other certifications obtained: iso 9001, Organizational excellence model (EFQM 2013).
-Nature and length of previous experience: 2 years experience as supply chain manager in pharmaceutical company and 5 years experience as head of procurement in pharmaceutical company.
-Specialist knowledge: business management and analytical skills, IT literacy, skills in Excel and the ability to handle electronic data and understanding of risk management in the context of the supply chain,
-Familiarity with rahkaran system software and Familiarity with trade rules.
-Soft Skills and Personality traits: strong planning skills, good time management, with the ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and keep to deadlines, excellent communication skills, the -Ability to lead and motivate a team, leadership and adaptability.
