Job Description
Some of your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Coordinating all activities during the purchasing process, such as order registration, insurance, inspection, monitoring shipping documents and creating invoices
• Follow-up for inspection of incoming shipments, shipping documents and issuance of inspection certificates
• Review and follow-up with shipping companies for timely delivery of orders and invoices
• Registering import declarations
• Registering customs declarations in the system
• Cooperating in all customs matters
• Conducting commercial correspondence
Basic requirements:
• Sufficient mastery of the general principles of international trade
• Good knowledge of customs clearance process
• Proficient in customs and clearance laws
• Adequate familiarity with principles and procedures of keeping records and reporting
• Familiarity with the international transportation process and processes
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks
• Fluency in English language
• At least 2 years of foreign purchase experience
