
Job Description
•Manage operational relationships with suppliers, internal customers, line manager and direct reports to support sourcing execution.
•Monitor and manage the life cycle of purchases and contracts to ensure assigned technical spending is under control and compliant
•Ensure that requests from relevant divisions are met accurately regarding technical product and service quality, quantity, price and delivery time.
•Research and report on latest market and supply chain developments to support strategic sourcing decisions.
•Manage tender processes for business requirements, including document preparation, pricing, negotiations, and close-out activities, in line with procurement policies and quality standards.
•Manage the Supplier selection process, including:
o Support Supplier pre-qualification
o Supervise or prepare, issue, and evaluate RFx
o Supervise or prepare tender committee and supplier quality documentation
o Prepare Stakeholders’ committee presentation
•Manage Contract Management process including:
o Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions
o Monitor progress and compliance to contract terms and conditions
o Ensure purchases are made in accordance with the contract or agreed terms and conditions
o Manage Change Requests and variations
o Maintain professional relationships with internal customers and other stakeholders
•Monitor financial aspects of purchase through various analyses, including:
o Achieve cost savings and/or “Cost-Avoidance” targets in assigned categories
o Support establishment of beneficial commercial terms and conditions ensuring best total cost of ownership
•Ensure Customer Service requirements are met through:
o Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal customers and suppliers
o Report periodically to related teams (A&R, Planning & Performance, …) on the progress of procurement assignment
o Manage and implement new actions and policies which are announced by A&R or other authorities
Job Requirements
Education
•Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in MBA, DBA, Supply Chain Management, or related
Experience
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an area of specialization, with experience in supervising/managing others
•Experience working in a medium to large organization
•Experience in contract management from the RFP stage through contract close-out required.
•Experience in Supply Chain leading practices and trends.
