Job Description

We are looking for a talented Social Media Specialist to administer our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating original content in a variety of formats, managing posts and responding to followers. Social Media Specialist job description should contain the following duties and responsibilities: - Develop, implement and manage our social media channels, including Instagram, Telegram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter. - Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences - Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals - Generate, edit, publish and manage engaging content (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news) - Create, run and manage effective social media campaigns in order to boost brand awareness - Develop and deliver social media optimization (SMO). - Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in digital marketing, social media, design tools and applications - Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews - Monitoring competitors and industry trends in social media - Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing etc. - Works with marketing and social media team members to coordinate ad campaigns with social media strategy - Manages social media communications

Requirements

- Creative mindset: to provide creative content both visual and written that engages with audience and touches their hearts and not just their minds - Strong writing, editing and storytelling abilities: to set the right tone across platforms that truly represent the company - Embracing channel diversity: to pick which channels are right for the company and identify content that should be varied - Determining key performance indicators (KPIs): to define the success of the company in achieving goals and objectives - Deciphering analytics: to understand what provided data by analytic tools are telling - Community management: to get folks to respond and understand their comments, questions, needs and concerns - 2+ years of experience in digital marketing and social media - Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms - Must be able to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects across multiple lines of business - Strong project management or organizational skills
