-Finding suitable market as per proposed services and structures of Shipping Line/Company to create strategy as well as business forecast plan
-Sales call reports providing of new customer calls on daily basis for 10-15 new accounts to be in close contact with customers ; introduce shipping line services ,visit existing and potential customers to understand their needs and built with the operational team a customized solution that perfectly fits with customers’ requirements.
-To achieve proposed targets introduced by commercial manager
-To find out competitors activities and prepares reports in this respect
-Attend sales visits on weekly basis up to 5 calls
-Produce rate corresponding with trade desk on daily basis with pricing desk
-Report monthly performance as per proposed format to Commercial manager for performance reviewing
-Producing Lost Biz format to manager in order to case study for resolving present issue in sake of services betterment
-Attending in weekly /daily meeting with manager for services improvement
-To maintain existing customer relations as well as expand our customer base with new ones, whilst keeping their customer portfolio up-to-date at all times by administrating date in the available system.
-Sales activities will be divided between primarily outside sales (i.e. customer visits) and inside sales (i.e. acquisition by phone –
-Define and implement Commercial Action Plan with manager.
-Closely work with the customer service team to develop supply chain solutions
-Monitor the progress of the shipment until final destination.
-Participate to the contract setting and monitor customers’ payment with the Collection Desk.
-Participate in the management of commercial disputes.
- At least 3 years’ experience in shipping Sales and Marketing.
- Performance focused – Well organized, Proactive and creative insight into problems.
- Able to multi-task, manage time and balance multiple priorities.
- Team oriented – actively promote a cooperative / positive team spirit and respect the diverse contributions of teams.
- Possess good communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English.
